About Centerra Mirage STEM Academy

Welcome to Centerra Mirage STEM Academy

 

We are preschool through 8th grade public education that rivals charter schools. Our focus is on S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math) and building a strong academic foundation for all students because tomorrow's innovators are today's STEM students. We offer full and half-day preschool classes, and a tuition free kindergarten program. CMSA is proud to be the STEM academy of choice, but why make Centerra Mirage your STEM Academy of choice?​​​​

Academics

We believe in offering a well rounded, STEM education to all students. That means your child will have daily instruction in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through engaging, hands-on activities that help to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills.  Our state certified, highly qualified teachers are able to use various instructional strategies to help address the whole child in an engaging and rigorous environment. We believe that we are preparing our students for careers that are yet to be developed. We are proud to offer competitive digital learning such as:

  • Chromebooks in grades 2-8
  •  iPads in grade K-1
  • iReady Reading and Math Enrichment and Intervention Programs
  • Eureka Math - both online and use of manipulatives

Students can develop their leadership abilities and foster collaborative work and sportsmanship through our educational programs which include:

Community

Centerra Mirage STEM Academy offers opportunities to engage the entire family in the culture of STEM. Students and their families have access to guest speakers and special events to take learning outside of the classroom and into our community. These opportunities include:
